The Kansas Payment Center (KPC), located in Topeka, Kansas, is the payment processing center for all Kansas child support, maintenance and other support related payments.  Support payments that were processed by the Clerks of the District Courts or Court Trustees prior to October 2000, are now processed through the KPC. Other child support services, including establishment and enforcement of child support orders, continues to be handled by the local child support agencies and District Court Trustees. Click the following links for the Office of Judicial Administration (OJA) or Social & Rehabilitation Services (SRS) web sites for more information about child support services and enforcement.
The transfer of child support payment processing was required by statutes enacted by the U.S. Congress in the Personal Responsibility and Work Reconciliation Act of 1996, Pub.L. 104-193.
